Toolkit Update

The Toolkit has started to take shape!
The Toolkit pages are intended to be of use to volunteer managers and organisations wishing to set up a supported volunteering project.
The toolkit will be split into sections, defined by the barrier you are working with. For example, there will be sections on Learning Disabilities and Mental Health. In each section there will be three subsections:
-
Useful Links
News and Research
Resources
We have made a start with the section on Learning Disabilities. It is still a work in progress and there will be more resources in time. For the moment, there are interesting links under the ‘News and Research’ section, a downloadable easy-read application form in the ‘Resources’ section and some general information on Learning Disabilities, conditions and useful websites.
As the toolkit is built and uploaded onto the website, we will keep you updated via this website and our Twitter feed (@c4volunteering).
FORUM
The forum is almost ready to use. By all means, pop over and have a look if you would like to see what’s going on there. We are doing some final checking on the registration process and writing some instructions. We hope to have all of that up and running in the next 2 weeks.
As ever, we welcome your feedback. If you have any suggestions or would like to contribute to the site, please let us know!
